Role of Merqadia
Merqadia is a managed sourcing and supplier-matchmaking intermediary. It is not a direct purchaser, reseller, logistics provider, escrow service or party to the buyer–supplier supply contract unless separately agreed in writing.
Direct contracting
Buyers and suppliers remain responsible for negotiating and performing their commercial agreement, including product specifications, quality, compliance, payment, delivery and remedies.
Qualification is not a guarantee
Supplier screening and verification support sourcing decisions but do not constitute a guarantee of product quality, performance, regulatory compliance or fulfilment.
Confidential process
Users must protect confidential requests, offers, pricing, documents and identities. Information may only be used for the relevant qualified sourcing opportunity.
Success fees
Where agreed, the supplier owes Merqadia a percentage or fixed success fee following a successful deal. The applicable amount, currency, due date and invoice status are recorded for the relevant transaction.
